Small groups
Small groups consist of 3-10 people who meet regularly. Our groups are characterized by reading and discussing the Bible together, sharing prayer requests and personal exchange. They are a great way to get to know each other, to encourage each other and to start everyday life strengthened. Each group decides for itself whether to meet at home, in the church rooms or to share common interests.
Women’s home group
Who: Young women
When: Every Wednesday from 6 pm to approx. 8 pm
Where: Community rooms
What: We want to grow together personally and in faith. To this end, we exchange ideas, worship, read the Bible and pray for each other.

Men on Fire
Who: Men
When: Every two weeks on Tuesday evening
Where: In summer around a campfire / in winter in a warm living room
What: We talk about God and life, have fun and eat sausages.

English Small Group
Who: Anyone who prefers to connect in English
When: every Friday at 6.30 pm
Where: Church (Nördlicher Stadtgraben 12, 94469 Deggendorf)
What: We are a young, international group passionate about faith, community and real conversations. We come together to share about our lives, study the Bible, worship, pray and explore topics related to Christian life. Occasionally, we also enjoy outings or fun activities.

Crawling house group
Who: Parents with children from 0 to 3 years
When: Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: in the community or at someone’s home
What: The toddler house group is a time for both parents and children to get to know God better. We sing songs with the children and read a story, but we also want to grow in faith ourselves, share our experiences and read the Bible together while the children play. There is also a delicious breakfast.

When: Every second Thursday from 19:30
Where: Viechtach
What: We read the Bible together, share ideas and pray together. From time to time we also worship together.

Writing club
Who: Anyone who enjoys creative writing
When: Once a month Saturday morning
Where: Community rooms
What: We spend several months working on a Bible text and write various texts on it. Everyone writes whatever they feel like. This results in poems, short stories or songs, for example. We meet once a month to discuss the process and give feedback. It’s a very nice way to engage with a Bible text in a deep way. You can see an example in this video.

Running club

When: Sunday afternoon (weather permitting)
Where: Along the Danube
What: We not only keep fit spiritually, but also physically! Everyone can take part, regardless of their level! We simply want to exercise together.

Book Club
Who: Anyone who wants to
When: Once a month
Where: In a café or at someone’s home
What: Every month we read a chapter from a book and then meet to talk about it. Everyone is welcome and you can say whatever is on your mind. In recent years, we have read books such as “Der Klang” by Martin Schleske or “Eden Culture” by Johannes Hartl.
