Church in Deggendorf

Pulsschlag Deggendorf is an evangelical free church and, together with 800 other churches in Germany, belongs to the Federation of Evangelical Free Churches (Baptists) K.d.ö.R. This type of congregation came into being together with the Protestant Church at the time of the Reformation – so they have been around for around 400 years. There are currently 50 million Christians among them. Together with the other forms of church, we see ourselves as part of the Deggendorf and worldwide community of Christians.

Thanks to the creative freedom of our congregational form, we can ask ourselves: What can community in the church look like today? What helps us to share the Good News of Jesus and what helps the people of this city to recognize it as Good News? How can we discover the richness of a relationship with God in all our lives and what does it look like when people take responsibility for and in a city? Join in and help us shape the church in Deggendorf!

Approach/Rooms

Our base is at Kräutlerstraße 6 in Deggendorf (next to St. Martin). We have our own rooms here, where we celebrate church services on Sundays or meet for various events.

Our goals

Perfect Deggendorf - the human being

The Good News
for humans …

Because we have experienced the forgiveness and love of God and believe in his word, we want to base our decisions on sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with people.

To this end, we get to know their culture, gather and act where these people live and become active in our community and our lives in order to make this love of God tangible in words and deeds.

Perfect Deggendorf - the human being

… releases its
potential …

Every person is created and loved by God. We want to lead him into a powerful relationship with the Father and release his potential, which was given to him through Jesus.

To this end, we want to respond to each individual, help them to discover their nature and talents and to grow in faith. We promote team structures, are tolerant of mistakes and like to break new ground.

Perfect Deggendorf - the human being

… and leads him
in responsibility.

We have all been given a body, a mind, a lifetime and a place to live. Together with the gifts, abilities and resources that are available to us, we are responsible before God to shape our coexistence according to his standards and in his strength.

To this end, we want to acquire knowledge and skills in dealing with ourselves and allow our character to be shaped by our relationship with God. We are committed to working together in families and society, opposing injustice, helping the sick and the weak and working towards a sustainable approach to our planet Earth.

Want to know more about who we are and what we’re up to? Perhaps you would also like to join us or work with us in certain areas. Or you have questions or comments …

Feel free to write to us! We look forward to hearing from you!
