House hunting

As a student, the easiest thing to do is to move into a furnished student hall of residence. There are a lot of them in Deggendorf.
We can recommend Studentenpark 1, which is very centrally located and has modern facilities. Experience has shown that DSV offers a good community and reasonable prices. If you value a larger bed and proximity to the Danube, you should also take a look at Studentenpark 2.

You can find the complete list of halls of residence here on the THD website. We recommend applying early and for several halls of residence, as they are booked out quickly, especially in the winter semester.

You can use the usual platforms to search for private accommodation in Deggendorf: WG-Gesucht, ImmoScout24 or via classified ads.

Campus Connect Deggendorf

Campus Connect is an interdenominational, Christian student group at DIT. The aim is to create a space at the university where people can talk about Jesus and ask questions that previously had little to do with faith. The meetings take place weekly on Tuesday evenings at DIT and are organized in a variety of ways: From community games to reading the Bible together to playing Spike Ball or watching a movie, everything is included.
